Batik tulis is drawn line by line with molten wax. A single metre of our silk passes through the hands of five artisans and three dye baths before it is ever cut. We work with 60+ makers across Solo, Pekalongan and Cirebon under a fair-wage partnership, paying per piece rather than per hour so mastery is rewarded, not rushed.
